Throughout his career, Corlandos Scott has shown a particular penchant for leadership, engagement, and continued education. His aptitude for leadership began during his undergraduate career at the University of North Alabama, where he served as the Student Body President and received national recognition for his work as the Captain of the Mock Trial program.
After graduating, Corlandos worked as a Nuclear Reactor Operator at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant, where was responsible for the smooth production and management of electricity for the entire Tennessee Valley. Corlandos continued to practice community engagement and collaboration through his participation in the TVA Communication Council and service as the TVA Site Chairman for the international organization, North American Young Generation in Nuclear.
Corlandos was an active member of the graduate student body during law school at the University of Michigan, where he served as an Editor for the Michigan Journal of Race & Law, lent his expertise to the community as a student attorney representing families facing custody, visitation, and support issues at the Poverty Law Clinic, and mentored high school students in trial advocacy skills through the Future Advocates In Training program.
Since becoming an attorney, Corlandos has focused his attention on entertainment law and assisted reproductive technologies. He first gained experience as an attorney for the Producers Guild of America, then joined a law firm where he handled egg donation and surrogacy cases with precision, empathy, and expertise. In his free time, you might find Corlandos playing the saxophone, boxing, golfing or traveling.
